BT Redcare alarm signalling to shut down – Act now to stay protected

Thousands of businesses and homeowners across the UK are being urged to take immediate action following last year’s announcement that BT Redcare, one of the country’s leading alarm signalling services, will be shutting down on 1 August 2025.

BT Redcare currently provides alarm signalling to around 100,000 customers, ensuring that intruder and fire alarm systems effectively communicate with key holders and alarm monitoring centres in the event of an emergency. However, with the imminent closure of this service, affected customers must find a suitable alternative to maintain their security and compliance with insurance requirements.

What This Means for You

If your property relies on BT Redcare for alarm signalling, your equipment will need to be replaced before the service termination date to ensure continued security monitoring. Failure to act in time could leave your home or business vulnerable, with potential implications for your insurance coverage.

How GB Integrated Systems Can Help

At GB Integrated Systems, we understand the importance of seamless security transitions and are committed to helping new and existing customers affected by this change. Our expert team can assess your current system, recommend a reliable alternative, and ensure a smooth installation process so that your property remains protected.

Don’t Wait – Act Now

With thousands of properties requiring upgrades before the August 2025 deadline, it is crucial to act now to avoid last-minute disruptions or potential gaps in your security coverage. If you currently have a BT Redcare system on your property, contact us today for expert advice on upgrading to a new, compliant alarm signalling solution.

For more information, call us at: 01282 451300 or email: office@gbis.co.uk
