Christmas Closure

We will close our office doors at 16:00 on Friday 21st December 2018.

We will re-open 08:30 Wednesday 2nd January 2019.

If you need an engineer during this festive season we have emergency 24/7 cover for our contract customers only.

If you are a contract customer then please call our main office number 01282 451300 and listen for the emergency call out number.

We would like to wish all out past and present custmers a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Winner of innovation & technical expertise

After twelve months of hard work and dedication, the team of GBIS employees has been recognised and celebrated at a glittering award ceremony held on Saturday evening in the prestigious Alderley Edge, Cheshire. The group were presented with the ‘winner of innovation and technical expertise’ award for the Edgecroft high-end residential project, the brain child of Ian Unsworth and the team from NC Architecture. The inspirational evening showcased the very best in the industry. Scott Earing, GBIS Director picked up the award on the night, and comments “It was a great evening all round – we are extremely humbled and really proud to have been given this award, it is true testament to the hard work and dedication of each and every team player who helped complete this amazing residential project.”
GB Integrated Systems Limited, designed and installed the Fire alarm, Security systems, IP CCTV, Lighting control, Home Automation, and Audio visual systems throughout the whole project. The Control4 user interface is key to making all systems work seamlessly for a very happy client.

Local wood yard has bright future ahead

The recent supply of energy efficient LED lighting at a reputable Lancashire timber yard has significantly improved the working conditions of the employees along with enhancing the overall appearance of the premises, not to mention the significant reduction in running costs. GB Integrated Systems Ltd has a wealth of knowledge within the lighting sector and is always on hand to offer advice where needed.
GBIS’ Lighting specialist and sales manager Gavin Payton comments: “We have delivered some great lighting solutions throughout the North West within the commercial, industrial, residential and hospitality sectors and this project is just another example of how the right lighting can really make a difference, both for staff wellbeing and cutting down the day to day running costs. Congratulations to Gavin & Louise!!

Massive congratulations to Gavin (GBIS Director) and Louise (GBIS Finance Officer) on finally tying the knot!!! After first meeting 20 years ago, the couple travelled to Cyprus where they exchanged their vows in the presence of close family and friends. They both looked beautiful and had the most amazing time!! Here’s to a life of love, laughter and happiness x

Job Title: Integrated Systems Engineer (Multi-Disciplined)
Salary Expectation: Circa £25-28,000 +/- (Negotiable – depending on experience)
Location: Burnley, Northwest

GB Integrated Systems Limited has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and committed individual to join our team as an Integrated Systems Engineer. (Fire, Security, Data, Audio Visual, Automation). Based in the North West, GB Integrated Systems Ltd offer a full design, consultation, supply, installation, and maintenance of all types of electronic fire, security, data, audio visual and automation systems across all market sectors. The successful candidate will be required to install, commission, service and repair the aforementioned systems and associated equipment in accordance with current codes of practice, manufacturer’s requirements, British and European Standards. Travel and some working away is a prerequisite to this role.

Key Responsibilities

Install/ commission our wide range of equipment including; Fire and Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Audio Visual, and Automation systems.
To extend existing systems as part of small/remedial works packages.
Provide excellent service to customers, building solid working relationships.
Prepare for jobs by reading site plans, specifications and ensuring all equipment is available.
Fault finding and problem-solving when attending call outs/break downs.
Provide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and routine visits
Complete all company paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Adhere to health and safety requirements.
Be involved in a 24-hour emergency cover rota. Currently, this equates to 1 week in every 4.
Advise customers on new products and services to improve efficiency.

Essential Skills Requirements

Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and self-motivated
Full UK driving license
DBS clearance (for working in schools)

Desirable Skills Requirements

Worked within BAFE/ SSAIB/ NSI accredited company
Valid CSCS / ECS card
IPAF / PASMA / Asbestos Awareness certification
Electrical Qualifications
