GBIS unveils the transformed Ray Kitchen Lounge at Colne Cricket Club
GB Integrated Systems is proud to unveil Colne Cricket Club’s all-new sponsor’s lounge! In February, GBIS embarked on a mission to revamp the outdated space, now proudly named the Ray Kitchen Lounge, in honour of the late Ray Kitchen—a much-loved member, Chairman, President, generous sponsor, and committee member.
Our team dedicated themselves to this project, ensuring no detail was overlooked. The GBIS team along with local tradespeople, are thrilled with the outcome. The result is a modern, welcoming space designed for local businesses, families, and friends to gather, sponsor matches, and enjoy everything the local cricket club has to offer.
We extend our thanks to everyone involved in this project. Your support and hard work have been instrumental in bringing this vision to life.

GB Integrated Systems Limited has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and committed individual to join our team as a Systems Service Engineer. (Fire, Security, Communications, Audio Visual, Automation)
Based in the North West, GB Integrated Systems Ltd offers complete design, consultation, supply, installation and maintenance of all types of electronic fire, security, data, audiovisual and automation systems across all market sectors.
The successful candidate will be required to commission, service and repair the systems mentioned above and associated equipment in accordance with current codes of practice, manufacturer’s requirements, and British and European Standards.
Travel and some working away are prerequisites for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain a wide range of fire and security equipment.
- To extend existing systems as part of small/remedial works packages.
- Provide excellent service to customers, building solid working relationships.
- Attending urgent service calls to meet our SLAs.
- Fault finding and problem-solving when attending callouts/breakdowns.
- Provide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during reactive and routine visits.
- Complete all company paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Adhere to health and safety requirements.
- Be involved in a 24-hour emergency cover rota. Currently, this equates to 1 week in every 4.
- Advise customers on new products and services to improve efficiency.

- Full UK driving licence.
