GB Integrated Systems Ltd is expanding, and we’re on the lookout for an experienced, motivated, and committed Integrated Systems Engineer to join our growing team.
Location: Colne, Northwest UK
Salary: Negotiable (Based on Experience)

Based in the Northwest, we specialise in the design, consultation, supply, installation, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems – including Fire, Security, Data, Audio Visual, Lighting Control, and Automation – across a wide range of market sectors.
This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary engineering role. You’ll be responsible for managing, installing, and commissioning integrated systems to the highest standards, following current regulations, British and European Standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
This role is ideal for a time served fire and security engineer and/or a fully qualified electrical engineer.
Please note: Travel and occasional overnight stays are part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and commission Fire & Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Audio Visual, and Automation systems.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and develop strong client relationships.
• Read site plans/specs and prepare all equipment in advance.
• Troubleshoot, fault-find, and offer solutions on-site.
• Complete job paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain health & safety compliance.

Essential Skills & Requirements:
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and flexible attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.
• DBS clearance (for work in educational settings).
• Eligible for full security clearance (due to project types).

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience in BAFE / SSAIB / NSI accredited environments.
• CSCS / ECS card holder.
• IPAF / PASMA / Asbestos Awareness certified.
• City & Guilds or other electrical qualifications / apprenticeship.
