Working Hrs – 16 hrs a week, over 2-3 days per week (with a view to this role growing in line with the company aspirations)

Reporting to the Managing Director

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance person to work 16 hours a week.  You will be required to be competent with Sage Accounting, Excel & other Microsoft packages.  Manage all aspects of the finance function, deliver accurate accounts, understand the companies cashflow needs and payment terms.

  • Manage own diary to enable efficient workload to maximise the opportunity of sales activities.
  • Ability to prioritise your working day and chase outstanding requests to ensure all are responded within a timely manner.
  • Always represent the company in a professional manner and exceed the customer expectations in meeting their needs.

GB Integrated Systems Limited has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and committed individual to join our team as a Systems Service Engineer. (Fire, Security, Communications, Audio Visual, Automation)
Based in the North West, GB Integrated Systems Ltd offer a full design, consultation, supply, installation and maintenance of all types of electronic fire, security, data, audiovisual and automation systems across all market sectors.
The successful candidate will be required to commission, service and repair the aforementioned systems and associated equipment in accordance with current codes of practice, manufacturer’s requirements, British and European Standards.
Travel and some working away is a prerequisite to this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain a wide range of fire and security equipment.
  • To extend existing systems as part of small/remedial works packages.
  • Provide excellent service to customers, building solid working relationships.
  • Attending urgent service calls to meet our SLA’s.
  • Fault finding and problem-solving when attending call outs/breakdowns.
  • Provide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and routine visits.
  • Complete all company paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements.
  • Be involved in a 24-hour emergency cover rota. Currently, this equates to 1 week in every 4.

Team GBIS welcome new apprentice

GBIS are delighted to welcome a new apprentice, Travis McQuillan to the team!   It was decided earlier on in the year to give further consideration to taking on a new Apprentice,  to support young people in our local area. We appointed Travis after he had shown interest in working for our company. We have enrolled Travis with local training provider Training2000 who will put him through his fire and security apprenticeship. We are excited to welcome him on board and we would recommend investing in young people.

New Super Home project in Prestbury Cheshire

Works has commenced on the latest super home project in Prestbury Cheshire for GB Integrated Systems Ltd. This project is being overseen by Technical Director Mike Gray from #teamgbis.
Mike Comments: “We have been designed this project previously for another contractor and it came as a pleasant surprise when we recently got the phone call from a familiar voice asking if we could do it. So to finally get on-site and start installing the 1st fixed cabling is a welcoming sight. We have delivered a number of jobs locally and it seems we are really making a difference”.
